Dear Sisters and Brothers,

As you are aware, the Region of Peel units in Public Health, Human Services, Transhelp and Public Works have been engaged in bargaining discussions with the Employer since July. We are pleased to announce that, while there remain several outstanding “local” table issues for all Units, the majority have now been resolved. While we had anticipated initiating “central” table discussions with Public Health, Human Services and Transhelp, on November 7th, your bargaining teams utilized that day, and Nov 8th, to finalize as much as possible. “Central” table negotiations for the three Units will now begin on Nov 14th, and Public Works will move ahead on Nov 15th.

Further information will be provided at the end of next week so please stay tuned. Many thanks for your dedication and continued support!

In Solidarity,

Bonnie Petrie

Recording Secretary

CUPE Local 966

A big thank you again,

From your Bargaining Committee:
